Target Audience

This activity is designed for electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals who treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

Describe newer technologies for atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation
Implement better methods of determining success of ablation of AF
Discuss the current and potential future indications for AF ablation and methods to minimize complications
Utilize magnetic resonance imaging to assess left atrial structural remodeling
Manage patients with AF and heart failure
