- Differentiate the impact of hypertension on the relative risk of target end-organ damage between diabetic and non-diabetic patients
- Discuss the role of combination therapy and the importance of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blockade in hypertensive diabetic patients
- Identify at least 2 pharmacologic considerations important for achieving and maintaining blood pressure control and adherence to therapy
- Describe the health and economic implications of poor adherence to antihypertensive therapy
